On April 1, Browsers Corner Book Store will celebrate its ninth anniversary at 711 E Washington St. It’s hard to believe that nearly a decade has passed since we first opened our doors at this location and welcomed readers into our cozy space.

At Browsers Corner, we’re passionate about books and the power they have to connect people, spark conversations and inspire new ideas. From fiction to non-fiction, board games to CDs and DVDs, we believe there’s something special here for everyone – and we’re committed to helping our customers find it.

Over the years, we’ve built a community of book lovers who share our passion for reading and learning. Prior to the 711 E Washington St. location, Browsers Corner Book Store operated at two different locations.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re grateful for the support of our customers, our community and our wonderful volunteers. We wouldn’t be here without you, and we’re honored to have been a part of so many people’s reading journeys over the years!

To mark this special occasion, we’re hosting a party on Saturday, April 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with refreshments.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for what the future holds. We’ll continue to stock our shelves with new and classic titles, host events that bring people together and support our community in any way we can. We’re grateful for the opportunity to do what we love: give back to our local library and share our love for reading.
