Off The Shelf

By Patti Ferguson, volunteer
A very big thank you goes out to all our volunteers who are keeping busy stocking shelves to keep up with increased donations from our great community. Donated materials are not allowed to come into the store until they have been in quarantine for four days. They are sorted and packed outside then stored in our pod before entering the store. This is to ensure the safety of both our customers and volunteers.

Due to limited space for outdoor workspace, it is important we know how many boxes are coming in to be donated. Please call 775-884-4043 to make an appointment for large donations. You can reach the store Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer will be here before we know it. We are currently selecting approximately 500 books to help the library with their summer reading program. The program will start later in the spring. We are fortunate to have four new volunteers join our book store family. If you are interested in volunteering, you can pick up an application at the front desk at the store.
