Off the Shelf – Update on Browers Corner

All volunteers are busily getting the store ready for Christmas. In Room 5, you’ll find a large selection of holiday items like cookbooks, books on decorating and crafts, fiction movies, and music. These are all priced at $.25 each. Come see what treasures you can find!

We’ve been fortunate to be able to rent a storage container lovingly called “Pod” for an extended period of time. The pod is used to store all the donations in quarantine for four days before bringing them into the store for cleaning and shelving. It’s important you know no donations can be allowed into the store due to COVID-19. This is being done for the safety of our volunteers and customers. When you come with donations, please leave your donation outside, come in and let us know you’ve brought books — and we’ll show you where they go. Small donations can continue to go into “The Beast,” dropbox. Large donations over three boxes or bags can be brought in by appointment. We want to make sure we have adequate space for all donations, so no one has to be turned away. Please, if you have large donations call the store, ask for me, or leave a message and I’ll call you back. We can set up a time convenient for you to bring in your items.

The store has been doing well since our grand reopening. A big thank you to all the former volunteers who have returned to support the store, and have worked long hours cleaning and organizing. A special thanks to the community for your continued support of the book store. We look forward to seeing you soon. Happy holidays from all of us at Browsers. Take care and be safe.

(Note, we’ll be closed Dec. 24-26 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1.)
